Dear ELEVATED Community,
I’m your brother K, & today is a great day to have a great day! The full swing of spring energizes our surroundings as we creep closer to a rare & beautiful solar eclipse. The heavens are telling! As those in my camp are reaching the closing of our month-long consecration, we offer a two-part entry to dive deeper into the principles that form the bedrock of our community: ELEVATED. Each letter represents a core value that not only guides our actions but also shapes our daily practices. This entry will cover the first four principles—Empowered, Luminous, Exuberant, & Virtuous—providing a daily activity to help embody each term.
Empowered: Daily Affirmation Practice
Activity: Start each day by stating a personal affirmation. Choose an affirmation that reinforces your inner strength and ability to make impactful decisions. For example, "I am in control of my actions & my life," or "I possess the power to change my story." The subconscious mind does interpret negative statements such as “I am not” or “I don’t want”. It sees it all in the affirmative. So use those…it is why we call them Affirmations! This daily practice fosters a mindset of self-efficacy & empowerment while subtly retraining your subconscious to produce your desires.
Luminous: Spread Light with Kindness
Activity: Make it a point to perform at least one random act of kindness each day. This could be as simple as smiling at a stranger, offering a compliment, or helping someone in need. Acts of kindness not only illuminate the lives of others but also enhance your own inner light. Low hanging fruit: Greet everyone you meet with a smile! I offer ‘Free Hot Chocolate High Fives’ while waiting in line while out & about. The possibilities are abundant.
Exuberant: Celebrate All Wins
Activity: At the start & end of each day, take a moment to celebrate a small victory or a positive moment you experienced. This could involve writing it down in a journal or sharing it with a friend or family member. Prayers of gratitude to your Source & ancestors is an excellent method as well. Recognizing & celebrating small wins nurtures a spirit of joy & gratitude, contributing to an energized outlook on life.
Virtuous: Practice Ethical Decision-Making
Activity: Challenge yourself daily to make choices based on your ethical principles. Whether in business, personal life, or simple daily interactions, consciously make decisions that reflect honesty, integrity, & virtue. Referring back to the list you made of finding yourself in your offense is crucial for this aspect. Doing that exercise every few months, or even more often will vet great gains in this area. This will result in practical action such as returning a lost item, choosing not to spread gossip, & making formal apologies for things others never even thought about. This is about your soul, do what you gotta do!
Best & Better,
K
