Dear ELEVATED Community,
I’m your brother K, & today is a great day to have a great day! As we progress through March, a month rich with transformation & renewal, we find ourselves amidst a time of significant spiritual significance & celestial alignment. Holy celebrations, the energy of the new moon, the Equinox & our internal commitments, healing & reprogramming of childhood trauma.
Embracing the Sacred
March hosts numerous holy celebrations from various traditions, each offering a unique perspective on redemption, renewal, & rebirth. Classics such as Ramadan, Easter & my personal celebration called NeferBaKa.These observances remind us of the cycles of life, the power of faith, & the importance of our spiritual journeys. They invite us to reconnect with our deeper selves & align with the universal energies that guide us. How do you celebrate this amazing time? How does it aid you & yours each year?
The New Moon: A Symbol of New Beginnings
I’m old school in the extreme in that I use the heavens & its cycles as a guide to life. The new moon is a powerful symbol of new beginnings. It's a time to set intentions, start afresh, & commit to our goals with renewed vigor. The darkness of the night sky at this time is prime for conceiving the things we seek to birth in the days to come. This celestial event encourages us to look inward, reassess our paths, & set forth with clarity & purpose.
Internal Commitments: Pledging to Our Growth
This season of renewal is the perfect backdrop to forge internal commitments—promises to ourselves to grow, evolve, & transform. Whether it’s committing to daily meditation, journaling, or another practice that nurtures your spiritual & emotional well-being, let this Spring be your witness & guide. What daily practice can you begin today that leads you to be that person you imagine yourself being in your wildest fantasies?
Healing Childhood Trauma
One of the most profound commitments we can make is to heal our childhood traumas. The journey of reprogramming the narratives we’ve carried since ages 0-7 is both challenging & deeply rewarding. (I would say essential) Here are some approaches to consider:
Therapeutic Practices: Engage in therapies that focus on trauma recovery, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or eye movement desensitization & reprocessing (EMDR). These methods can help rewire harmful patterns & foster recovery.
Mindfulness & Meditation: These practices can ground us in the present & help detach from past hurts. Mindfulness teaches us to observe our thoughts & feelings without judgment, fostering a new perspective on old wounds.
Expressive Arts: Art, music, & writing provide powerful outlets for expressing & processing complex emotions associated with trauma. These creative forms can unlock new ways of understanding & healing. (Right brain stuff, more on this as we go)
Community Support: Engage with a community or support group where experiences can be shared in a safe & understanding environment. Healing is often more profound when it’s shared. WE ARE BETTER TOGETHER!
Moving Forward
As we acknowledge these sacred times & invest in the symbolism of the new moon, let us do so with the possibility of profound personal renewal & healing in mind. Our ELEVATED community is here to support each of you on this journey of empowerment & transformation.
May this March be a turning point, a moment to renew our commitments to highest ourselves & to begin the delicate work of healing that prepares us for the blossoming that comes with spring.
Best & Better,
K
